VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGNER

ABOUT YOUR DESIGNER

I’m a New Jersey-based graphic and brand designer with 5+ years of experience helping brands improve their visual identity, communicate clearly, and stand out in ways that attract their audience.

Over the years, I’ve worked on a little bit of everything: brand identities, advertising campaigns, social content, website designs, signage, vehicle graphics, print, presentations, animated ads, and plenty of projects that don’t fit neatly into one category.

That variety is one of my favorite things about being a designer. Every project brings a different challenge, and I enjoy figuring out what makes a brand unique and turning that into something people will actually notice and remember.

I DON'T REALLY HAVE A SPECIFIC "STYLE"

That's a good thing!

Every brand has its own personality, audience, and goals. Instead of forcing the same look onto every project, I try to find what makes each brand interesting and build around it.

Sometimes the answer is clean and refined. Other times it should be bold, playful, or a little unexpected. Either way, I’m always looking for that balance between making something visually interesting and making sure it actually works.

I care about the details, probably more than I should, but I also try not to lose sight of the bigger picture. Good design should solve a problem, communicate an idea, and give a brand something it can confidently put out into the world.

AI Philosophy

AI CAN GENERATE AN IMAGE. A DESIGNER BUILDS AN IDENTITY.

AI is changing the way we work, and when used well, I think it can be an incredibly useful tool for designers.

I haven't always been a supporter for AI. I believed it was damaging brands and replacing jobs in the design field. Then I realized it can speed up parts of the creative process, help explore ideas, create references, and handle tasks that would normally eat up valuable time.

I see AI as an assistant, not the final product. The best results still need a human behind them to make decisions, refine the details, and understand what actually makes sense for the brand.

AI has also made design more accessible.

For a small business that may not have the budget to hire a designer, it can be a great starting point for getting an idea off the ground. But there's a difference between creating something that looks good today and building a brand people will recognize years from now.

For me, it’s not about AI versus designers. It’s about knowing when to use it, where it can make the process better, and when good old-fashioned creative thinking needs to take over.
